What Is Favicon ?

Favicon

Favicon is  also known as a shortcut icon,Web site icontab icon or bookmark icon .

Size Of Favicon:-

most commonly it is of    ( 16x16 )pixels .

and also of ( 32x32 ) Pixels of size .

associated with a particular website or webpage

Extention name  (.ico)

The favicon was standardized by the  (W3C)World Wide Web Consortium in the HTML 4.01 recommendation, released in December 1999 .

In HTMl file insert the below code in the HEAD section of your pages .

<link rel="shortcut icon"href="http://example.com/myicon.ico"/>

also used a .PNG images. in some cases  but   Size matters  to avoid to make  file heavy.

<link rel="shortcut icon"href="http://example2.com/myicon1.png"/>

Device support

For Apple devices with the IOS Operating Sysytem version 1.1.3 or later, such as the iPod Touch, iPhone, and iPad, as well as some Android devices, it is possible to provide a custom icon that users can display on their Home screens using the Web Clip feature (called Add to Home Screen within Mobile Safari). This feature is enabled by supplying a  <link rel="apple-touch-icon" ...> in the <head> section of documents served by the web site. If the custom icon is not provided, a thumbnail of the web page will be put on the home screen instead.
The recommended basic size for this icon is 60×60 pixels; for best display on the higher-resolution iPhone 4 screen, an icon size of 120×120 pixels is recommended.
For the iPad and iPad 2, the basic size is 76×76 pixels. For the 3rd generation i-pad , the high-resolution size would be 152×152 pixels. Android tablets [via Chrome] prefer a 192x192 PNG icon.
The icon file referenced by apple-touch-icon  is modified to add rounded corners, drop shadow, and reflective shine.   Alternatively, an apple-touch-icon-precomposed  icon may be provided to instruct devices not to apply reflective shine on the image .

Why it is Required ?

According to me it should be compulsory or it is ,because  it helps us to find our desired or requiring Website in Web Browser. when it contains so much of open websites and files at the time . so Favicon helps to Recognize Website.
and
There is many .ico file generator available on web/Internet.
where you can change your .PNG file into .ICO file
Thank you

Designers work in a multitude of fields, from fashion, architecture and graphic design to web and user experience. While the specifics of actual jobs may vary by field, the work of “designers” share many essential features.  However, the common impression of the typical designer can differ greatly from reality.

The Importance of the Designer:-

Going forward, creative work is sure to become more common place. Today, despite the many professions available, creative work seems to be on the rise. Just outside the boundaries of the system, risks are being taken in new ventures. In a creative enterprise, the most important factor is to give life to innovation.
The job of the designer when creating new products is to clearly relay the benefits of a product to the layman and lead them to a proper understanding. There are also cases where a supervisor makes a judgment without the presence of the designer, and this is part of the difficulty of the profession.
Despite putting in thousands of hours into one project, most are sure to end in failure. Nevertheless, in order to create an impact on the world, it is necessary to continue on. The designer, even when not actually designing, must be continually sharpening their insight so that they may regularly contribute fresh ideas.
In that sense, our work can’t be clocked in the normal way. But there are many things only a designer is capable of bringing about and that thought alone is truly exciting. That’s why I believe it is a noble profession.

Digital Marketing also known as Internet Marketing,

The Promotion of Products or brand Via forms of electronic media.such

Digital Marketing is not an altogether new factor risen up in the business scenario. If you want to assess pluses of Digital Marketing here are a few points:
1. You always do marketing for your business, whether it is Digital or otherwise. You as a businessman, may be spending thousands per month on pamphlets, posters, banners etc. in real (non-cyber) space.
2. Now think of Digital Marketing, only a fraction of this money is to be spent in Cyber space, with much more performance in terms of ROI. But the problem here is, you always need to be extra-smart while spending in this Cyber world. Since Cyber world is not as 3D as the outside world is. There *are* pitfalls, as compared to the real world, ranging from negative SEOs, to misuse of your identity (e.g.- cyber squatting), etc. You need to be aware of them. But once you are aware of them, and master the different "modules" of Digital Marketing, you can reign the world, and yes "world", because Internet is "worldwide", it is double-u double-u double-u.
3. Learning Digital Marketing is at the same time a thrilling experience. You come to know how big companies rank their websites, how big websites rank on the Internet, and also you are enthralled thinking that you are also going to have the same capacity (skills), which can definitely help you achieve a similar or competitively similar place in the Cyber world, and hence in the real world.

4. You can understand that once the marketing has gone digital, there is no way back, though we know that it will not always remain the same as it today is; but, however advanced it becomes, it will remain Digital only. So no way out ! You have to learn it !! (Or in other words, it is such an enjoyment which you have to have).

Graphic Designing problems

Problems Faced by Graphic designer

Graphic designers are an enthusiastic lot. Learning a design platform, exploring it through one’s own creativity, while keeping abreast with advances in technology and trends etc., really requires zeal. The role that graphic designers play in creating a brand is crucial, in terms of effectively communicating a brand’s uniqueness to its audience.  It is this constant process of analyzing customer tastes, ideas, designing, re-designing and more re-designing, that may tire the most successful or creative of graphic designers out there.

Overseas competition

Some companies truly care about their images and are willing to pay for great design work. Some just want the job done as economically as possible. Overseas competition has traditionally served the latter, which deepens the price basement and lowers the ceiling along with it. The bigger problem, however, is that some of those overseas designers are getting quite good at design and are willing to work for far less than you are.

  Templates

More small businesses just want the job done. For example, they just want to print a postcard that promotes their newest deal. If they can do it with a $20 template instead of paying you $1,500 for design, they will. Templates make it easy to forgo custom design in favor of a cheap and easy solution; however, they also represent an excellent opportunity for graphic designers. What if you sold that $20 template to 500 different people? You’d make $10,000 off the same design.

Managing expectations

This probably would qualify for the top “occupational hazard” in the life of a graphic designer. Every customer is unique and thinks differently and therefore, envisages the outcome differently. A graphic designer, unlike a doctor or an engineer, cannot just give one solution to solve a problem, and may need to offer multiple solutions that may suit the taste of a customer. And yet, still expect revisions and changes.

Designing is not about creating something fancy, it is about making things work. When your designer creates a website for you, it is not about how the website looks, but about how everything works in symphony to give your customer a seamless user experience

And many more problem reflects at the time of graphic designing..
but i will  try to solve your problems, so tell me your problems in comment box.

Thank you

Graphic Designing Ideas class

When I studied graphic design, I learned a valuable lesson: There's no perfect answer to the puzzle, and creativity is a renewable resource.
yes  basically , it was correct , Teachers only show a path , it's your own wish that which path will be chosen by you.

whether it is wrong or right Track.

Actually, Who is Graphic Designer ??...
A person who is creative , and having more creativity ideas ,who takes ideas from day to day life.
In reality . that person is a Graphic Design.

Not a person who know some basic Graphic Software like, Photoshop,Illustrator, Corel Draw, Indesign etc.

Before you set out to create a design, ask yourself what the end goal is. Then create a design that helps that goal to be met.

and  yes,  one thing is that

There are three responses to a piece of design  i.e, yes, no, and WOW!
WOW is the one to aim for.

so my friend be creative.  be attentive in your

daily life..

i hope you will get my points.

thank you....

I am a Graphic Designer so i love to do designing.
